Today Cleaners is a local family-owned busi- ness with 10 locations serving the Bakersfield community. It started off as Sparkle Uniform and Linen Service over 65 years ago in Taft.
Sparkle Uniform and Linen Service diversified and moved into the Bakersfield area, opening its first location on Ming Avenue and New Stine Road with the name Today Cleaners in 1986. Today Cleaners customers also receive two free express bags, which they can use to drop off their clothing at any time in the 24-hour drop box. This makes it convenient for customers with busy schedules.
